Material notes: aluminium, felt and recycled ABS
Three materials, chosen for how they age, how they feel and how long they last.
Most of the FORME collection is made from three materials. We chose each one for the same reasons: it should feel good in the hand on day one, and better on day one thousand.
Recycled aluminium
ARC is a single sheet of recycled aluminium, bent once. Aluminium is light, stiff and endlessly recyclable, and a soft powder coat gives it a warm, matte touch that keeps fingerprints to a minimum.
Wool-blend felt
PAD and SLIM use a dense 4 mm wool-blend felt. Wool quietens sound, regulates temperature and wears in gently. Brushed occasionally, it keeps its surface for years.
Recycled ABS
GRID, DOCK and TRAY are moulded in recycled ABS with a fine, stone-like texture. It is tough, easy to clean, and holds colour deeply, so a scratch shows the same Sage or Clay underneath.
