In praise of the everyday object

Why the things we use twenty times a day deserve the most care.

· 3 min read

A notebook is opened more often than a painting is looked at. A key organiser is handled more than most furniture. The objects closest to our daily routines shape our days in small, constant ways.

Designed to be used

We design by use first: how something is picked up, set down, opened, carried and cleaned. Colour and form come after, and they are there to make those moments easier to enjoy.

Made to be kept

An everyday object earns its place by lasting. Durable materials, repairable details and a quiet design language mean a FORME object should still look right on your desk in ten years.
